Sangraal’s Indian Food delight
| February 24, 2007 |
My friend Sangraal will host an Indian food dinner at his place this coming Saturday. Dishes includes both vegetarian and meaty dishes. One of his dishes includes my personal favorite, shrimp vindaloo! Can’t wait to try it out and post it online. more to come…
Update> Sangraal and Sereta prepared 2 saucy meat dishes (1 slightly spicy) and 1 vegetarian dish all served well with puffed chappathi bread and basmati rice and complimentary chutneys. We had twice the amount of intended guests and filled up half the apartment. To end our tasty meal, mango lassi’s were the perfect compliment not to mention the fierce battles that occured with the Nintendo Wii.

Slicing Onions

There were a lot of onions for my Spicy Thai dinner event and thus the possibilities of a lot of tears. I used a chef’s slicing technique which, to the best of my ability, found a great YouTube illustration of this here. With that technique, the onion slices come out looking professional and thankfully, kept my manhood intact.
